Although Training Classes and CD ROMs offer a general look into the operation of an application, not all answers are on hand. We recognize the fact that after installing the application, implementation and training is essential and may require a higher level of support.

To further understand the process in which an application collects and report necessary information to prepare a claim, an in depth look into how the application work is necessary. 

MediClaim of Florida offers On Site Training to help you understand the complexity and specialized nature of the billing process. Lack of standards in the CMS 1500 process requires us to make minor changes to the standard format.

Many clients have customized forms (face sheets, patient statements, Superbill, etc.), labels and more, in addition to the the forms provided within the application.

We will help you with the post implementation of your application. MediSoft, as any other application, requires to be setup with data pertinent to your specialty. CPT codes, ICD-9, Insurance Carrier information, physician data, Electronic Media setup, and Custom Reporting is just the beginning. 

We will help you understand a common misinterpretation is the use of cases. We recommend one case per patient office visit, even if the visit is a follow up. One case per hospital stay if the diagnoses remain the same; once case if a chiropractor is servicing the same treatment, etc. Secondary billing - why is it that the system refuses to print that secondary claim?

We can provide you with online training as well. With prepaid support, we will be able to show you, without leaving your office, online training sessions. An invitation is sent to you via email, you will launch an application that will connect you to our server. Once connected, your system will be connected to ours. We will call your office to start the training. Per hour training sessions are available. Other connectivity options are available.
