Protecting your privacy is important to us. We hope the following statement will help you understand how MediClaim of Florida, Inc. collects, uses, and safeguards the personal information you provide to us on our site. This policy applies to our entire site.

I. Information being collected online

When consumers browse our Web site, we do not collect any information from them. For example, we do not file information regarding the pages our consumers are visiting and for how long. We do not collect our visitors and consumers' email addresses. If in the future, we provide a survey or have site registrations, we will only collect the information the consumer has voluntarily provided. This will include the consumer's email address. 

We do not use "cookies" for collecting consumer information. Our database table E-Commerce functionality stores a computer ID that serves as a Visitor ID. This Visitor ID enables our customers to interact with E-Commerce functionality. If our WebStore cannot issue a Visitor ID, then the customer's browser is not configure to accept cookies. (HTTP cookies provide the server with a mechanism to store and retrieve state data on the client application’s system. This mechanism enables Web-based applications to store data about selected items, user preferences, registration data, and other data that can be retrieved later).

II. How do we use or share the information we collect

MediClaim of Florida, Inc. collects information only to complete a transaction. MCF does not use the personal information (such as name, address, survey responses and e-mail addresses) to further market our own products. We will, however, inform our customers to take advantage of ongoing sales, discounts, deals, etc. MCF does not disclose any personal information to a third party for any purpose, nor sells any information. As we previously stated: Protecting your privacy is important to us.

III. Choices available to consumers regarding the marketing uses of the collected information.

MediClaim of Florida, Inc. provides an easy mechanism for consumers to opt out of having the personal information we collect in our forms for marketing purposes - by our own company. Our visitors and consumers can easily select from our forms if they want our company to send future emails, regarding our products and service. Our response forms will confirm that our company has received their opt out/in choice; it is the only way to review the choices they made. If the form does not contain the opt out/in choice, the default choice is – opt out. To make changes to the choices indicated, just email back to MCF your opt out/in choice. There is no time limit to change your option; it can be done at any time.

IV. How do we handle consumer inquiries about their information?

You may contact MCF at webmaster@mediclaimfl.com to inquire on our policy or if you want further information about our privacy policy and what it means. For example, an email address, phone or fax number. Inquires will be handle individually and are not handle by a customer service process. Any corrections to account or transaction information can be made by emailing our Webmaster.

V. How do we protect the information online?

Information submitted to MCF is kept on our host's mainframe computer’s database. Only the Webmaster is the authorized employee to access this information, avoiding the need for inappropriate disclosure of consumer information by other employees.

Changes to our privacy policy will be posted here. Our policy was updated on Tuesday, April 15, 2008.

The owner/operator of MediClaim of Florida, Inc. of this public Internet Web site is not liable for the failure of any single electronic commerce transaction or any series of electronic commerce transaction authorization failures experienced by one or more end-users accessing this WEB STORE over any public or private telecommunication system. Under no circumstances, including negligence, shall MediClaim of Florida, Inc. be liable for any incidental, special or consequential damages that result from the access or inability to access the WEB STORE. Similarly, MediClaim of Florida, Inc. shall not be liable for the failure of delivery of any product or service purchased by one or more end-users accessing this WEBSTORE through any public or private telecommunication system due to errors, omissions, interruptions, delays in operation, system congestion, insufficient bandwidth or any other failure of performance whether or not caused by events beyond MediClaim of Florida, Inc.'s reasonable control. These include but are not limited to, acts of God, theft, destruction, or unauthorized use of the public Internet by any unknown third party directly or indirectly affecting the WEB STORE. In any case, MediClaim of Florida, Inc.'s entire liability and CUSTOMER'S exclusive remedy will be defined by the terms of the Merchant Account Agreement under which payment was made for any product or service purchased at the WEB STORE.
